Consumer, Industry Changes Shift Automotive Advertising Strategy

As Effectv hosted its brand relaunch at the famed Studio 8H in New York City, the Effectv Automotive Advisory Council (AAC) gathered for its fourth meeting.

I sat down with the council members who are part of the advocacy group focused on cultivating best practices and uncovering new solutions and innovations in advanced advertising for the auto industry. attended the Effectv launch event and provided insights on the state of automotive advertising as they see it.

Meet the Auto Advisory Council

In Fall 2019, 30 Rockefeller Center was abuzz with the launch of the Effectv brand (formerly Comcast Spotlight). Similarly, the automotive industry was going through changes related to shifting consumer behaviors, marketing budget reallocation and more, as well. I interviewed members of the Effectv Automotive Advisory Council on the Company’s transition as well as the evolving auto industry. Their responses resulted in a written piece and a video I produced on the subject.
