For years, i’ve had the pleasure of designing events of various sizes and different occasions. While it started off as just a hobby with family and friends in the beginning, I was  able to integrate one of my passions with my career, pushing boundaries and activating new ideas.

Here are some of my favorite event designs and activations of 2017-2018:

My Wedding

With my varied event experience I felt super prepared and excited when my husband and I planed the wedding of our dreams. Drawing on our combined love of an industrial and modern aesthetic, I was able to combine traditional romantic elements more contemporary ones like lucite and right angles to design an event fit for the two of us and our 150 guests.

Election Night 2018

This midterm election night watch party was one for the books. With custom drinks and witty signage, the brand and events team took a somewhat boring subject and brought it to life. We took political stats and engaged an agency to create motion graphic “commercials” to play intermittently on ten televisions around the space.

Consumer Electronics Show 2018

At the world’s biggest technology conference, we had the challenge of conducting meetings appropriately in hotel suites and boring meeting spaces. We successfully hosted client and partner meetings at a hotel in Las Vegas with a tricked-out suite complete with touchscreens, a virtual reality room and warm design touches in the form of florals, snack boxes and brand signage. We also hosted an executive-level meeting in a boardroom with seating for 30 and tablets running the presentation live, ensuring everyone in the room had a good view.

ANA Masters of Marketing Conference 2017

The Association of National Advertisers annual conference kicked off with a welcome reception for 1,500 people. We designed signage with quirky messaging to fill the space and created a canopy with thousands of feet of bistro lighting. Selfies taken at the welcome reception were printed to create a photo mosaic wall that was displayed in a prominent area for the remainder of the conference. Check out famous ice skaters, Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir, who took a selfie for the wall as well!

SXSW 2018

For the Interactive portion of South by Southwest, we took over a travel agency/coffee bar to give event goers a place to grab an espresso, listen to private acoustic concerts and learn more about the brand’s services. Custom signage, video elements and Snapchat filters really shined. The highlight was a performance by ZZ Ward.

CES 2017 Party

Who doesn’t love a private party at an exclusive club in the middle of the biggest tech conference!? The late night event featured branded wall wraps, a custom-built virtual reality experience, mesmerizing lighting and video elements, and a Rolling Stones cover band.
